Europe’s Cryptocurrency brokers are facing regulators head-on and demanding transparent rules and regulations for cryptocurrency. This is done in an attempt to make cryptocurrency more mainstream by hammering down standard regulations so people will stop saying cryptos are unregulated and only used for fraud and money laundering. This also puts the pressure back on the regulators who have been very slow in hammering out standards because it may be advantageous for various government departments to classify cryptos as different things. If there is a common standard then they will all have to agree on what Cryptocurrency is. I’m really glad that its the cryptocurrency brokers themselves that are asking for these regulations and not the government forcing it on them because that shows that the brokers are not afraid of regulations and instead welcome them and puts all the pressure on the government to provide everyone with transparency.
