New Trump SEC commissioner Elad Roisman may be the final step to get a Bitcoin ETF passed. He is more pro-crypto than the person he replaced and now the SEC commissioner board has 2 pro-crypto commissioners. There are a total of 5 commissioners on the board so they are still in the minority, but they may sway the opinion of the others to finally let a Bitcoin ETF through. The two pro-crypto commissioners have a view that the SEC should not be a gatekeeper to technology and innovation in this sector and has a looser view of how much regulation the SEC should instill in cryptocurrencies.
