Vechain and Digibyte were on the list of 18 coins that Coinbase put out that they may be interested in adding soon. It may come tomorrow or it may be a few months but it looks like VET and DGB are on their way to Coinbase.
Vechain recognized by the German Government
Vechain has been officially recognized by the German government in the area of Supply Chain management so there may be some partnerships coming out of Germany for Vechain. After studying 300 blockchain, 8 were chosen to be recognized and Vechain was one of them.
Cardano Public Testnet to Launch
Tomorrow will be the launch of the Cardano Public test net. The friends and family testnet so far has been a success and it will soon be available to the public. This is going as planned and on schedule and we are still looking to a June 30th launch of the Shelley Code.
Ethereum 2.0 scaling solution dropped on medium
Today, long before Ethereum 2.0 is launch, someone on medium dropped a scaling solution for it based off of the Argent Wallet. This would let every take part in the scaling and negate the 32 ETH minimum limit. My guess is its someone from Argent.
IOTA starts decentralizing with HORNET
The long-awaited IOTA decentralization may finally be starting. IOTA hornet has arrived. It vastly improves the performance of IOTA(650tps) and reduces resource use of the node. It also increases the number of nodes which increases decentralization.
Bittrex,Poloniex named in Tether Manipulation lawsuit
The lawsuit ongoing since October of 2019 was additionally named Bittrex and Poloniex as accomplices in Tether manipulation of Bitcoin. They say that these exchanges set up specific address to receive un-backed Tether from Bitfinex in order to pump the price of Bitcoin.
Brave Reaches 15 million users.
Brave has announced that they have reached 15 million monthly users and also 5.4 million daily users. About 12% of Brave users have opted into BAT making about 600k daily BAT users. That is a large community when it comes to crypto and hopefully it can grow even larger.
Moneygram to be bought by WU?
Western Union made a bid to buy moneygram today and many are wondering what the implications for XRP are. Realistically, I don’t think there are any implications. Western Union is just buying up struggling competition in an attempt to consolidate their own power. XRP was probably not even part of the consideration.
ICON(ICX) to allow multiple staking schedules.
Soon, ICX holders will be able to submit more than 1 unstaking request at a time. This could have large implications for people who want to tier out their staking of ICX.
